Who we are

Dare Technologies Limited is a company registered in Trinidad & Tobago, operating from Port of Spain.

For any question about this policy, or about information we hold about you, write to hello@daretechnologies.net.

What this policy covers

This policy covers daretechnologies.net, this website, and nothing else.

It does not cover our apps. LingoFire and All 4s Mobile collect different information than a website does, including account and gameplay data, so each will publish its own privacy policy before it is released. All 4s Mobile’s is already published at all4s.daretechnologies.net/privacy. Neither app is available yet.

The short version

• This website sets no cookies.
• It runs no analytics and no advertising or tracking scripts.
• We do not build a profile of you, and we do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.
• The only personal information we receive is what you choose to type into the contact form.

What we collect

When you read the site

Nothing that identifies you. There are no cookies to accept, no analytics tags, and no tracking pixels, which is why the site has no cookie banner.

Your request does pass through Cloudflare, who host the site and deliver it to you. Like any hosting provider, Cloudflare processes connection details including your IP address in order to serve the page and to protect the site from attack. That is ordinary infrastructure operation rather than anything we collect for our own purposes.

When you use the contact form

The form asks for, and sends us:

• Your name, as you type it
• Your email address, so we can reply
• A subject, chosen from a fixed list
• Your message

One extra detail is added automatically: the country your connection appears to come from. It helps us recognise automated spam. We deliberately do not record your IP address alongside it.

How the contact form actually works

Worth being specific, because it is the only place this site handles personal information:

1. You submit the form. It is sent to an endpoint at /api/contact running on Cloudflare.
2. That endpoint checks the message is well formed and is not automated spam.
3. It then passes the message to Resend, an email delivery service, which sends it on as an email.
4. The email arrives in our company mailbox at hello@daretechnologies.net, hosted by Zoho.
5. Your email address is set as the reply address, so answering you replies to you directly.

We operate no database. The form endpoint stores nothing. Your message exists as an email in our mailbox and nowhere else on our systems.

Who else handles your message

Three companies process it on our behalf. Each is bound by its own privacy terms:

• Cloudflare hosts the website and runs the form endpoint. Every request to the site passes through them. cloudflare.com/privacypolicy
• Resend transmits the contact form message as an email. They receive the contents of what you send. resend.com/legal/privacy-policy
• Zoho hosts our company mailbox, where the message is delivered and read. zoho.com/privacy.html

We do not share your message with anyone else, and we do not use it for marketing.

If you choose to message us on WhatsApp instead, that conversation happens on WhatsApp itself and is handled by Meta under WhatsApp’s own privacy policy, not through anything on this website. whatsapp.com/legal/privacy-policy

Why we use it

Only to read your message and reply to it. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we send no marketing email.

You chose to send us the message, and replying to it is the obvious and only reason we hold it.

How long we keep it

• The website itself keeps nothing. There is no database and no stored copy.
• Your message stays in our mailbox as an email. We delete enquiries we are not acting on after 24 months. If your message leads to an ongoing conversation or a working relationship, we keep it for as long as that relationship lasts.
• Resend keeps delivery logs for 30 days, then removes them.

Your rights

Write to hello@daretechnologies.net and we will, within 30 days:

• tell you what we hold about you
• give you a copy of it
• correct anything that is wrong
• delete it, unless we are required to keep it
• stop using it if you object

In practice, what we hold is any email you have sent us, so in most cases this means finding your message and deleting it.

We offer these as a matter of policy. We are not claiming that any particular country’s data protection law governs this website.

Children

This website is aimed at businesses, press and people interested in our work. It is not directed at children and collects nothing beyond the contact form described above.

Age related questions belong with the apps, which have age ratings and account systems, and will be addressed in each app’s own policy.

Security

• The whole site is served over HTTPS, so traffic between you and us is encrypted in transit.
• Because we run no database, there is no store of personal information to breach. The only copy of your message sits in our mailbox.
• The contact form is rate limited and screened for automated abuse.
• Our email is authenticated with SPF, DKIM and DMARC, which makes it harder for anyone to send mail pretending to be us.

Changes

If this policy changes we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
